  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup freeze-dried blueberries
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese or vegan alternative
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries (thawed and drained)

Instructions

  1. Grind freeze-dried blueberries into a fine powder using a blender.
  2. In a bowl, mix rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, ground blueberry powder, and chia or flax seeds.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together applesauce, softened cream cheese, and honey/maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry ingredients until fully mixed.
  5. Fold in thawed blueberries gently.
  6. If too dry, add milk one tablespoon at a time until moldable.
  7. Roll mixture into bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined plate.
  8. For the glaze, whisk cream cheese, milk, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  9. Chill bites for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  10. Drizzle each bite with glaze and top with fresh blueberries.
