  • 3 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • For the sauce: 2 tablespoons butter (or vegan butter), ¼ cup hot sauce, 1 tablespoon coconut aminos

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and adjust the oven rack to the upper-middle position. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
  3. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, oregano, cayenne pepper, and thyme until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange seasoned wings in a single layer on a wire rack set over the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, then flip and bake for another 20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While wings bake, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in hot sauce and coconut aminos and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
  7. Toss baked wings in the sauce until well coated and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
