  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • â…“ cup olive oil (or avocado oil)
  • ¼ cup apple vinegar (or apple juice vinegar)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon ground pepper

Instructions

  1. Trim the skirt steak of excess fat and pat dry.
  2. Season with kosher salt and place in a resealable bag.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, apple vinegar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, thyme, and rosemary.
  4. Pour the marinade over the steak in the bag and seal tightly.
  5. Massage gently to coat the steak evenly; refrigerate for at least 2 hours (up to 12 for best results).
