1 lb. ground chicken
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 cups shredded cabbage
1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 brioche buns
2 tablespoons avocado oil for frying
1/4 cup yum yum sauce or preferred sauce
Instructions
In a bowl, mix shredded cabbage, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, sugar, and salt to create the slaw. Set aside.
In another bowl, combine ground chicken, teriyaki sauce, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, and salt. Form into four patties.
Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 3-5 minutes per side until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
Toast brioche buns cut-side down in the same skillet until golden.
Assemble by spreading your choice of sauce on the buns, adding patties, and topping with sesame slaw.
