  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 11 tablespoons butter (softened for cookie dough)
  • 1/2 cup white sugar (for cookie dough)
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar (for cookie dough)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (for cookie dough)
  • 1 1/2 cups flour (for cookie dough)
  • 1 egg (for cookie dough)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (for cookie dough)
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar until combined. Press tightly into the bottom of a greased baking pan.
  2. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream, egg, lemon juice, and vanilla; mix until well combined. Pour over the crust.
  3. For the cookie dough topping, cream together softened butter and sugars until fluffy. Mix in vanilla, then add flour, salt, and egg; fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop dollops of cookie dough onto the cheesecake layer. Bake for about 50 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  5. Cool at room temperature before refrigerating to chill completely. Slice and serve!
