  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cranberry filling by boiling cranberries with water and sugar until softened.
  2. For the crust, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla, salt, and flour until dough forms; press into a lined baking dish.
  3. Bake the crust at 325°F for 16-18 minutes until golden; cool slightly.
  4. Whisk together custard ingredients: sugar, flour, eggs, and lemon juice.
  5. Layer cranberry filling over the cooled crust; chill briefly before adding custard mixture.
  6. Bake at 350°F for about 43-45 minutes until set; cool completely before slicing.
