Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cherries by washing them thoroughly and removing the stems and pits.
  2. In a blender, combine pitted cherries, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into an airtight container and freeze for about 2 hours until icy around the edges.
  4. Remove from freezer, blend again to achieve creaminess, then return to freezer for another 4 hours until fully frozen.
  5. Serve in bowls or cones garnished with fresh mint leaves.
