Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let froth for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture along with melted butter and eggs; stir until a sticky dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for about 8 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, roll tightly into a log shape, place in the loaf pan, and let rise again for about 30 minutes.
  7. Bake for around 30 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before slicing.
