  • 16 tbsp unsalted butter (for frosting)
  • 4 cups confectioner's sugar
  • 1 tsp whole milk (for frosting)
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract (for frosting)
  • 1/4 cup extra-strong lavender earl grey tea (cooled, for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two cupcake pans with baking cups.
  2. In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Combine milk and vanilla; gradually add dry ingredients alternately with the milk mixture.
  6. Stir in cooled lavender earl grey tea until well incorporated.
  7. Fill cupcake liners with batter and bake for about 18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
