  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus more for garnish)
  • 3 green onions (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

  1. Dice the turkey bacon into bite-sized pieces and place in a large pot over medium heat. Cook until crispy, then remove with a slotted spoon.
  2. Leave the grease in the pot and add flour, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk for about 2 minutes.
  3. Gradually pour in chicken broth while whisking until smooth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions (about 2-4 minutes).
  5. Microwave cream cheese for 20-30 seconds until soft; stir into the soup along with shredded cheddar until melted.
  6. Lower the heat, add half of the turkey bacon and chopped green onions, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with remaining turkey bacon, green onions, and extra cheese if desired.
