  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 slices turkey bacon or a vegetarian substitute
  • 6 slider buns
  • 1 cup arugula
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix maple syrup and Dijon mustard for the marinade.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear chicken until golden brown (3-4 minutes per side).
  5. Brush chicken with the marinade and bake for about 10 minutes until fully cooked.
  6. Cook turkey bacon in the same skillet until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  7. Slice the chicken into thin pieces.
  8. Assemble sliders by placing arugula, chicken, and bacon between each bun half.
