  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes (if using), and oregano; let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken into strips and return it to the sauce; simmer for an additional 3 minutes.
  7. Stir in butter until melted, then mix in cooked pasta until well coated.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
