Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz shell pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the shell pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. Season steak pieces with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear steak bites until browned on all sides (3-4 minutes). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and combined; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  5. Serve topped with steak bites and garnish with parsley if desired.
