  • 8 cups powdered sugar

  • 8 oz softened cream cheese
  • heavy cream as needed (for frosting)
  • 12 fresh strawberries, sliced for garnish
  • 20 Golden Oreos, crushed
  • 3.4 oz strawberry Jello powder
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, combine vegetable oil, egg whites, water, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Gradually mix in the cake mix and flour until just combined; be careful not to overmix.
  3. Fold in sour cream until smooth.
  4. Divide batter into cupcake liners and bake for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool cupcakes completely on wire racks before frosting.
  6. Whip together butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until fluffy.
