  • 1 1/2 lbs chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 2 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 lb green beans (trimmed)
  • 68 chilies (dried or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chili paste
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped roasted peanuts (for garnish)
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili paste, honey, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and minced garlic; cook for about 5 minutes until almost cooked through.
  3. In the same pan, add another tablespoon of sesame oil with the green beans and chilies. Stir-fry for about 5-6 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan, pour in the sauce mixture, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until everything is fully cooked.
  5. Garnish with chopped peanuts and sliced green onions before serving.
