  • 1 large egg (for filling)
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for filling)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (for filling)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Fill cupcake liners halfway with batter.
  5. For the filling, blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg, flour, and vanilla bean paste; mix until combined.
  6. Spoon cheesecake filling into each cupcake liner on top of the batter.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
